THREE-POINT ARTICULATION – GUARANTEES OPTIMUM DRIVING COMFORT
Working on a range of construction sites in the earthworks and asphalt sectors requires rollers to have optimum driving and steering characteristics. To meet this need, HAMM has installed three-point articulation – a more sophisticated upgrade from conventional articulated joints – in all soil compactors and tandem rollers in the HD CompactLine, HD and HD+ series as standard.
EASY DRIVE – FOUR MACHINE SERIES, ONE OPERATING CONCEPT
Modern construction machines feature a number of functions and are designed for optimum efficiency. Even more essential for success is simple, intuitive operation – this guarantees short training times and incredibly high productivity in every construction project. With Easy Drive, HAMM has therefore developed a standardized operating concept for tandem rollers (HD+ and HX series), soil compactors (HC series) and pneumatic tire rollers (HP series – Tier 4) that reduces complexity to a minimum and enables operators to react quickly and correctly in no time at all.
HAMMTRONIC – PERFECT MACHINE COORDINATION FOR OPTIMUM COMPACTION RESULTS
For earthworks or asphalt work, construction companies rely on achieving the most efficient use of machines possible in order to reduce their operating costs and achieve optimum compaction results. This is where the Hammtronic electronic machine management system comes in – it supports the operator in their day-to-day construction work in order to achieve optimum compaction without compromising on safety, cost-efficiency and fuel savings.
SMART COMPACTION
The area of road construction and earthworks is undergoing a period of transition, and the topics of resource conservation, digitalization and documentation, but also the increasing skills shortage, are being discussed on a global scale. It is already becoming increasingly difficult for construction companies to recruit qualified personnel for construction machinery, in particular for rollers. At the same time, the requirements for compaction quality, measurement and documentation are increasing. It is also clear that, soon, "digital natives" will operate the machines in modern road construction. From all of these requirements and framework conditions, HAMM has developed various solutions for intelligent and simple compaction in the Smart Compaction product range. The focus here is on digital interfaces between the driver and the machine.
