DITCH WITCH UTILICOR® MC-450 — CORING ATTACHMENT FOR STAND ON SKID STEERS
With intuitive controls and an integrated water tank, the MC-450 is the perfect attachment for quick cuts and a more productive coring process.
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
PRODUCTIVITY
An integrated control panel displays both the orbital and feed pressure gauges, allowing the MC-450 unique insight into productivity. Also, the control panel is fitted with an electrical connection feature which makes connection easier, helping operators get to work quicker. A fully adjustable 0 to 280 rpm speed allows for enhanced control and greater productivity.
DESIGN
The MC-450 is fully welded from 1/4-inch gauge steel and comes equipped with a 30-gallon water tank that is integrated with the frame. The built-in tank gives the attachment a lower center of gravity, making it less top heavy. Equipped with a standard water hose, and an auxiliary hose, to help cool the cutter head and reduce silica dust.
EFFICIENCY
The MC-450 navigates precisely through confined spaces, including sidewalks. Its hydraulic system utilizes quick "plug and play" auxiliary hookups, allowing operators to be ready to core within minutes. Also, by leveraging keyhole coring techniques, operators eliminate the need for traditional, large excavation methods, saving significantly on costs and allowing for more efficient utility verification.
VERSATILITY
Used in tandem with a Stand-On Skid Steer, the MC-450 allows for a simple keyhole coring process and makes accurate cuts up to 18-inches in diameter and 22-inches deep. The vacuum systems are designed to excavate down to the utility for maintenance from the road level and can be used to verify or expose underground utilities to prevent damage.
REINSTATEMENT
Using Utilibond™, the specially engineered pavement bonding compound, the reinstatement process is permanent, requiring no temporary patching, repaving, or revisits. And, with more than 100,000 successful core reinstatements and no reported failures in more than 2 years, the simple process is field-proven and guaranteed to perform.
