The 74-hp (55-kW) FXT65 truck mount vacuum excavator is your choice for big cleanup jobs in hard-to-reach locations.

Ditch Witch® truck vacuum excavators provide greater mobility and maneuverability on the jobsite and outstanding performance in a compact package. These systems come complete with the vacuum excavator and truck—either a single or tandem rear axle—so you control your initial investment. The vacuum excavator is mounted directly to the truck frame rails, allowing system components to flex independently of the truck, maximizing structural integrity.
The tandem rear-axle configuration allows you to tow additional equipment to the jobsite. Designed with maximum payload and towing capacity, the tandem axle configuration is built to handle heavy spoils while pulling a trailer. This helps reduce equipment wear and fuel consumption.
Like all Ditch Witch vacuum excavators, our truck vacs are construction-grade machines built with heavy-duty components that can withstand the demands of virtually any cleanup or soft excavation task. Plus, they can be customized with your choice of tank sizes and numerous other options such as wireless hydraulic booms and reverse flow.
POWER
Equipped with a 74-hp (55-kW) Deutz® diesel engine, the FXT65 offers 1,215 cfm (34.4 m3/min) of suction power and a high-pressure water system with a 5.5-gpm (21-l/min), 3,000-psi (207-bar) water pump.
PRODUCTIVITY
• The autoclutching feature disengages the water pump when water is not in use, allowing full system power for suction.
• Optional heater keeps water system from freezing in inclement weather and increases production in tight soils.
• Optional reverse-flow feature enables quick and easy offloading of spoils.
DESIGN
• FXT65 allows system components to flex independently of truck, for maximum structural integrity.
• Saddle-style tanks provide optimal weight distribution to keep payload over rear axle.
• Reusable, 0.5-micron vacuum filter and a blower relief valve air filter provide the industry's best filtration.
VERSATILITY
• Mounts to single-axle truck of your choice, new or used.
• Choice of 500-gallon (1893-L) spoils tank with 200-gallon (757-L) water tank or 800-gallon (3028-L) spoils tank with 400-gallon (1512-L) water tank to meet the requirements of virtually any size cleanup job.
EASE OF USE
• Easily accessible outside controls can be configured for left- or right-hand traffic, for greater safety and convenience.
• Remote-fill water tank allows for easy filling and prevents siphoning back into the water supply.
• Optional hydraulic boom extends to 14 ft (4.3 m) helping save on labor and time while reducing operator fatigue.

At 82 dBA, the FXT65 is the quietest in its horsepower class. A fully enclosed, insulated and lockable power pack protects major components from weather and vandalism while leading the industry in noise reduction.
