The mud pump has to supply the mud motor, but also has to flush the cuttings to the surface for disposal. The table below shows typical flow rates for popular size mud motors. Be sure to allow enough extra mud flow to flood the bore. American Auger’s mud pumps can be used with any brand or size of the directional drill.
